A special ceremony was held at the Iranian Consulate in Karachi to mark the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, hosted by Iranian Consul General Hassan Nourian. Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, along with other provincial ministers including Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Saeed Ghani, and Syed Zulfikar Shah, participated in the event.

Addressing the gathering as the special guest, Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon highlighted the significance of Rabi-ul-Awwal, the month that celebrates the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He underscored the importance of the Prophet’s teachings, which focus on compassion, justice, and unity, as guiding principles for all.

He also spoke on the deep and lasting relations between Pakistan and Iran, rooted in shared heritage and mutual respect. Memon emphasized the rich cultural traditions, literature, and art that bind the two nations, promoting mutual understanding through artistic and educational initiatives.

The minister further stressed the need for cooperation between Pakistan and Iran in addressing global challenges such as food security and sustainable development. He pointed out that joint efforts in agriculture, resource sharing, and knowledge exchange are vital to combat issues like malnutrition and enhance regional stability.

Sharjeel Inam Memon concluded by calling for renewed efforts to strengthen economic partnerships, cultural exchange, and overall collaboration between the two countries.
