Sindh Government Imposes Pillion Riding Ban Ahead of Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA)

To prevent any untoward incidents during the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), the Sindh government has imposed a province-wide ban on pillion riding, including in Karachi.

The ban, requested by IGP Ghulam Nabi Memon, affects various districts across the province in connection with Chehlum processions scheduled for August 26. In Karachi, the ban will be enforced in the South Range from August 25 to 27, in the East Range on August 26, and in the West Range from August 25 to 26.
