Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon stated on Thursday that the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) initiated efforts to damage the country.
At an event in Karachi, Sharjeel Memon claimed, “Israel, known for its actions against Palestinians, is ironically criticizing human rights violations in Pakistan and supporting the PTI founder, even funding him for elections.”
He added, “The PTI founder won the 2018 general elections through significant rigging. There were attacks on the PTV, parliament, and police officials.”
Referring to the prolonged protest, Sharjeel Memon said, “The entire country was paralyzed by a 126-day protest,” and accused the PTI founder of consistently pursuing anarchic politics.
On the law and order situation in Sindh, Sharjeel Memon assured that “the Sindh government is committed to maintaining peace, with all parties unified on this front.”
Recently, Sharjeel Memon also criticized the PTI, accusing it of conducting a smear campaign against institutions and engaging in social media terrorism. He said, “The PTI doesn’t want negotiations but is desperately seeking a deal, which institutions are not willing to consider.”
Sharjeel Memon concluded by questioning the credibility of the PTI, stating, “How can those who attack institutions now talk about negotiations?”
