Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has reaffirmed her commitment to improving healthcare facilities as the government’s top priority. Expressing satisfaction with the progress of field hospitals and the innovative ‘clinic-on-wheels’ projects, she highlighted that free medicines for cancer, TB, and hepatitis patients are now delivered directly to their doorsteps.
“We aim for a happy, prosperous, and healthy Punjab,” stated Maryam. “While every sector’s development is important, my utmost focus is on enhancing health services in the province.”
Praising the dedication of doctors and paramedic staff working tirelessly in extreme conditions, she added, “I personally monitor the delivery of healthcare through field hospitals and mobile clinics. Witnessing the positive impact of our health reforms strengthens my resolve to continue providing state-of-the-art health facilities wherever they are lacking.”
