New Route, New Wheels: Electric Buses Connect Bahria Town to Numaish Chowrangi”
The Sindh Transport and Mass Transit Department has launched a new electric bus route, connecting the Bahria Town neighborhood to Numaish Chowrangi in the heart of Karachi. This eco-friendly initiative aims to make traveling easier and more affordable for residents in the area, covering 55 kilometers of routes that include stops at various locations such as Dunba Goth, Gulshan-e-Maimar, Suhrab Goth, Al Asif Square, Ayesha Manzil, Liaqatabad, and Teen Hatti.
Pakistan Peoples Party’s Members of the Sindh Assembly, Raja Abdul Razzaq and Sajid Jokhio, officially inaugurated the new route at Bahria Town. They emphasized that this new electric bus service will not only reduce traffic congestion on city roads but also provide a more convenient and cost-effective way for commuters to get to their destinations.
The Sindh Transport Department plans to expand this service by procuring more buses and introducing new routes to offer modern and affordable travel options to citizens.
