A missing 13-year-old girl was successfully rescued from Karachi within 72 hours, thanks to the swift action taken by the Lahore police.

According to a press release issued on Monday by the Lahore police’s investigation wing, the girl had taken Rs300,000 from her home and traveled to Karachi without informing anyone, aiming to meet actor Kubra Khan, whom she admired.

Upon noticing the incident, Lahore Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dr. Anoosh Masood Chaudhry initiated prompt action. The girl was found through the efforts of the Faisal Town team, led by in-charge Muhammad Waleed, using human intelligence and advanced technology.

The press release noted that the girl was safely returned to her parents at the SSP’s office, where they expressed their gratitude to the police for her recovery.

SSP Chaudhry distributed certificates of commendation to the officers who successfully recovered the girl. She mentioned that the girl’s brother had filed a case of her abduction at the Faisal Town police station.

“Protecting the lives and property of citizens is the police’s top priority,” SSP Chaudhry was quoted as saying in the statement.
