Karachi Braces for More Heavy Rains as PMD Warns of Intensifying Monsoon System

Following a day of normal to heavy rains, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted additional thundershowers for Karachi, with heavy rain expected in some areas over the next 24 hours. The Met Office reported that strong winds and thunder could accompany the downpours, with the city’s minimum temperature recorded at 26°C and a maximum expected between 30°C to 32°C. Humidity is currently at 92%, and winds are blowing at a speed of 16 kilometers per hour.

Preparations Underway for Potential Urban Flooding
