Election Tribunal Voids Mir Ziaullah Lango Victory and Orders Re-Polling in PB-36 Kalat Constituency

The Election Tribunal (ET) One, led by Justice Abdullah Baloch of the Balochistan High Court (BHC), has nullified the election victory of Mir Ziaullah Langove in the PB-36 Kalat constituency of the Balochistan Assembly. As a result, his appointment as the provincial Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs has also been declared void.

The tribunal has ordered re-polling at seven disputed polling stations within the constituency and mandated the appointment of new Returning Officers (RO), Deputy Returning Officers (DRO), and election staff to oversee the re-polling process.

This decision was made in response to a petition filed by Mir Saeed Ahmad Langove, a candidate from the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, who was represented by Akram Shah Advocate. Saleem Lashari Advocate represented Mir Ziaullah Langove in the case.
