Arshad Nadeem, who made history by securing a gold medal for Pakistan at the Paris Olympics 2024, is now focused on breaking the world record in javelin throw. Following a two-month break, Nadeem is determined to reach new milestones in his athletic career.

In an exclusive interview with Geo News, Nadeem shared his journey, crediting his coach, Salman Iqbal Butt, for guiding him through challenges, including overcoming injuries to achieve Olympic glory. Despite facing injuries before the Olympics, Nadeem’s dedication and hard work paid off, leading to his success.

Having trained relentlessly since 2012, Nadeem emphasized the importance of fitness alongside technique, noting that both are crucial for achieving consistent throws of over 90 meters. Looking ahead, Nadeem expressed his intent to compete in the 2032 Olympics, provided he remains fit, to secure another medal for Pakistan.

As he prepares to return to training, Nadeem’s next goal is to set a new world record in javelin throw, with his sights set on the upcoming World Athletics Championships.
