UAE Consul General Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi Clarifies No Visa Restrictions for Pakistanis

The Consul General of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi, has confirmed that there are no visa restrictions for Pakistanis wishing to travel to the Gulf nation. This clarification was made on Monday following reports of visa issues faced by residents of the Sindh province.

In a video statement, Dr. Remeithi emphasized, “All facilities are being provided to Pakistani businessmen, real workers, and those traveling for medical treatment in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and other cities.”

The UAE envoy highlighted the strong cultural, religious, and trade relations between the UAE and Pakistan, which have flourished over the past 50 years. “The UAE provides 100% facilities to Pakistani brothers and sisters for obtaining visas,” he added.

Additionally, Dr. Remeithi announced a special awareness programme at the Karachi Consulate aimed at educating individuals traveling to the UAE. He advised travelers to avoid carrying prohibited items and to pack their luggage themselves to prevent any difficulties.

“The UAE will launch a new programme for the business community on both sides within a few days,” he further revealed. This initiative will offer comprehensive facilities to aspiring travelers who wish to conduct business in the UAE or facilitate UAE companies seeking to establish operations in Pakistan.
