Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to arrive in Islamabad today for a two-day official visit.

Turkish FM Hakan Fidan will arrive in Islamabad today for a 2 day visit, from May 19 to 20, as reported by Presstonight.

Fidan will meet with PM Shehbaz Sharif, NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, and Senate Chairman Yousaf Raza Gillani to discuss bilateral cooperation and regional issues.

The meetings will also focus on preparations for the 7th Pakistan-Turkey High Level Strategic Cooperation Council, according to diplomatic officials.

In April, PM Shehbaz reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening economic and trade relations with Turkey during a meeting with Turkish investors at the PM’s Office.

The Turkish delegation, showing confidence in Pakistan’s leadership, expressed interest in investing across various sectors in Pakistan.

The meeting included Turkey’s Ambassador to Pakistan Mehmet Pacaci and CEO Terminal YAPI Cenk Coskun, along with Pakistani officials and federal ministers.

This visit is part of ongoing efforts to bolster collaboration in multiple sectors, including trade, defense, and cultural exchanges.

The meetings expected to address regional and international issues of mutual interest, further solidifying the strategic partnership between Turkey and Pakistan
