Reviving Economic Ties: Pakistani Business Delegation Visits Bangladesh After 12 Years

A high-level Pakistani business delegation, led by Atif Ikram Sheikh, President of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), met with Commerce Adviser Sheikh Bashir Uddin at the Commerce Ministry Conference Room in the Bangladesh Secretariat on Sunday. This marks the first official visit by a Pakistani business delegation to Bangladesh in 12 years, following the end of the Hasina Wajid regime.

Key Discussions on Bilateral Trade and Investments

The meeting, attended by Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh Syed Ahmed Maroof, focused on enhancing bilateral economic relations and exploring investment opportunities. The delegation’s visit comes at the invitation of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI).
