Police Arrest Eight Suspects, Including Four Women, for Blackmail and Extortion Using Honey Traps

In a significant operation, police have apprehended eight individuals, including four women, involved in a blackmail and extortion scheme, according to a report by The News. The female suspects reportedly used mobile phones to lure wealthy individuals into honey traps. Once the victims were at a predetermined location, the co-conspirators would record compromising videos of them at gunpoint. These videos were then used to blackmail the victims.

The suspects demanded additional payments, threatening to share the incriminating footage with the victims’ families and loved ones if their demands were not met.
