Interior Minister Denies Knowledge of Meeting Between CM Gandapur and Imran Khan

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has denied having any knowledge of a meeting between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.

Criticism of PTI’s Actions and Media Targeting

Speaking to the media at D-Chowk, Naqvi expressed his criticism of PTI, accusing the party’s workers of targeting media outlets during recent protests. He stated that such actions were unacceptable and detrimental to the freedom of the press.

Review of CCTV Footage to Assess Damage

In response to the incidents, the minister revealed that authorities would review CCTV footage to assess the full extent of the damage caused during the protests and ensure accountability. Naqvi’s remarks came as part of ongoing efforts to address the fallout from political unrest and maintain law and order.
