Four Solar Parks are being setup in Sindh

KARACHI: Sindh’s Minister of Energy and Development & Planning, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, announced plans to provide free electricity to consumers using up to 300 units per month. To achieve this, four solar parks are being constructed in Karachi and Jamshoro. These parks will supply electricity to the National Grid, and a subsidy will be given to consumers using up to 100 units of electricity in the initial phase.

In a meeting with K Electric, it was decided that past electricity bills for customers using fewer units should be waived, and their electricity should be restored based on current bills.

Speaking at a job fair organized by the Hindu Council, Syed Nasir Shah highlighted ongoing work on 5,700 development schemes. The cabinet has prioritized completing existing projects over starting new ones, aiming to finish 4,500 schemes this financial year so that the public can benefit quickly.

Syed Nasir Hussain Shah emphasized that employment is a critical need and urged companies to participate in job fairs to create job opportunities for the youth. He praised the Hindu community’s significant role in the country’s economic stability and encouraged similar initiatives by others.

Dr. Ramesh Kumar, Patron Chief of the Pakistan Hindu Council, noted that the exhibition began positively.
