Clash Between Rival Bugti Tribal Groups in Karachi Results in Five Deaths, Including Akbar Bugti’s Nephew

In Karachi’s DHA VI Nishat Commercial area, a clash between two rival Bugti tribal groups resulted in the deaths of five individuals, including Akbar Bugti’s nephew, Fahad Bugti. The incident occurred on Thursday night when both groups opened fire on each other over a dispute. The deceased have been identified as Fahad Bugti, Nasibullah Bugti, Mir Mehsam Bugti, Mir Eesa Bugti, and Mir Ali Bugti, all belonging to the Bugti tribe.

Two other individuals, Mir Haider Bugti and Qaim Ali Bugti, sustained injuries during the altercation and were rushed to Jinnah Hospital for medical treatment. The violence appears to have stemmed from a longstanding enmity between the two groups, as noted by Additional Inspector General of Police Javed Alam Odho.

Upon receiving information about the incident, a large contingent of police personnel quickly arrived at the scene, cordoning off the area to maintain order and facilitate the investigation. Investigators have begun collecting initial evidence to further probe the circumstances surrounding the clash.

DIG South Asad Raza confirmed that the bodies of all the deceased have been transferred to Jinnah Hospital. The police are working diligently to gather more information and ensure justice is served in this tragic incident.
