Bushra Bibi Reaffirms Commitment to PTI’s Protest, Vows to Stand Firm Until Imran Khan’s Release

Bushra Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and jailed former prime minister Imran Khan, has reaffirmed her determination to continue the ongoing protests until her husband’s release. Speaking passionately to PTI supporters, she emphasized that the protest was not just for the release of her husband, but for the future of Pakistan and its leadership.

“It is not just about my husband; it is about this country and its leader,” Bushra Bibi declared during her address to the crowd near the Hazara Interchange. She vowed to stand firm in her efforts “until my last breath,” and urged the protesters to stay united in their cause.

The PTI rally, which has been steadily making its way toward Islamabad, is calling for the release of Imran Khan and addressing several other demands. PTI workers have responded in large numbers to the call from their leader, Khan, to gather at D-Chowk in the capital and remain there until their demands are met.

Bushra Bibi also expressed her confidence in the support of the Pashtun people, noting that “Pashtuns are a proud nation” who will not abandon the cause. Her speech was followed by a powerful slogan aimed at energizing the crowd.

As PTI convoys from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa make their way through Punjab, the government’s efforts to block key entry points to Islamabad with shipping containers have slowed the pace of the marchers. Despite the obstacles, PTI supporters remain resolute in their determination to continue the protest.

In her words:
“I will stand firm until my last breath. You must stand with me, and even if you don’t, I will continue.”

Bushra Bibi’s strong resolve and leadership continue to inspire the PTI supporters as they move closer to the capital, where they plan to stage a sit-in until their demands are addressed.
