Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Directs Immediate Action for Balochistan Laborers’ Issues

Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has called for swift action to address the challenges faced by laborers in Balochistan. This directive came following a meeting with labor leaders from the region in Quetta, as per a press release from the Media Cell at Bilawal House.

Meeting with Labor Delegation

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met with a delegation led by Haji Ramzan Achakzai, Central Joint President of the All Pakistan Federation of Trade Unions and the WAPDA Labor Union. The delegation also included Muhammad Yar Alizai, Baqi Lehri, and Muhammad Qasim. The labor leaders provided a comprehensive briefing on the difficulties faced by Balochistan’s laborers, particularly miners.

Instructions for Immediate Action

In response to the briefing, the PPP Chairman instructed the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, to create an effective mechanism to address and resolve these issues swiftly and efficiently.

Recognition of Academic Achievers

In addition to addressing labor issues, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also met with the top 10 achievers of the Balochistan Intermediate Board, congratulating them on their exceptional performance. He personally commended Ayesha Ghazanfar, the top scorer, Sadia Tahir Kamran, who secured the second position, and Syeda Samreen Agha, the third-place achiever. Other high-achieving students recognized included Attaullah, Yasmeen Bibi, Fatima Mehboob, Qayyumuddin, Zubaida Bibi, Atiqa Niaz, Sanaullah, Atiqa Khan, Khansa Kakar, Asfandyar Khan, Karishma Devi, and Mubashir Ahmed.

Incentives for Students

As a token of appreciation, the Chairman presented electric bikes to the top 10 students, underscoring the party’s commitment to supporting and motivating the youth of Balochistan.

The event saw the presence of notable figures such as Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, PPP Balochistan President Mir Changez Khan Jamali, MNA Ejaz Jakhrani, Syed Iqbal Shah, Provincial Minister for Education Raheela Hameed Durrani, and other leaders, reflecting the party’s dedication to both labor and educational advancements in the region.
