Aimal Wali Khan Criticizes PTI and Taliban Influence, Highlights Lack of Police Control in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Awami National Party (ANP) Central President Aimal Wali Khan has voiced concerns over the deteriorating security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, claiming that half of the province is without effective police control. Speaking at the ‘Meet the Press’ program at the Karachi Press Club on Tuesday, Khan expressed alarm over the growing influence of militant groups in the region.

Khan further alleged that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the Taliban are closely connected, describing them as “two sides of the same coin.” He accused the PTI of acting as the political wing of the Taliban, further intensifying his criticism of the party’s policies and actions during their governance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
