12 Injured on Qatar Airways Flight to Dublin

Twelve people were reported injured due to mid-air turbulence on a flight from Doha to Dublin, while the plane was over Turkey. This incident occurred shortly after a similar event in Singapore, which resulted in one fatality.

Dublin Airport stated that the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner encountered turbulence over Turkey, leading to an emergency response upon landing in Ireland. Qatar Airways flight QR017 landed just before 13:00 local time, and authorities confirmed that six passengers and six crew members were injured.

According to the BBC, Dublin Airport’s team is providing full assistance to the affected passengers and airline staff.
