Pakistan’s Voter Base Reaches 132.2 Million, ECP Data Reveals

ISLAMABAD: The total number of registered voters in Pakistan has surged to 132.2 million, according to the latest data released by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

Out of the total electorate, 71.1 million are male voters, making up 53.74% of the voter base, while 61.2 million are female voters, accounting for 46.26%.

Provincial Breakdown:

  • Punjab has the largest voter population, with a total of 75.3 million voters. This includes 41.2 million men and 35.1 million women.
  • Sindh follows with 27.7 million voters, comprising 14.9 million men and 12.7 million women.
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has 22.5 million voters, with 12.2 million men and 10.2 million women.
  • Balochistan‘s electorate stands at 5.5 million, including 3.1 million men and 2.4 million women.
  • Islamabad, the federal capital, has the smallest voter base with 1.15 million voters, including 605,031 men and 549,440 women.

Urban Voter Numbers:

  • In Karachi, the voter count is 9.53 million.
  • Lahore has 7.14 million voters.
  • Peshawar‘s electorate stands at 2.15 million, and Quetta has 0.88 million voters.
