Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting, National Heritage and Culture, Attaullah Tarar, has criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for what he described as the party’s pursuit of “chaos and anarchy” following the violent events of May 9. Speaking to the media at the Nur Khan Airbase, Tarar condemned PTI’s role in the arson and destruction that took place during the protests, calling it part of a broader conspiracy to destabilize the country.
Tarar emphasized that the people of Pakistan desire a political environment focused on progress and welfare, a vision he said is being realized through the government’s people-centric initiatives under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership. The minister’s comments were aimed at contrasting the ruling government’s focus on development with PTI’s perceived focus on creating disruption and instability.
