The police have reported dismantling an inter-provincial gang of female narcotics dealers and confiscating charas that was being transported from Peshawar to various parts of the Hazara division.
“This marks the first time in the district’s history that three female narcotics traffickers have been arrested along with their facilitator, and contraband has been seized from them,” District Police Officer Shafeeullah Khan Gandapur informed reporters on Tuesday.
He mentioned that his team had arrested a drug dealer, Muhammad Riasat, originally from Dasu Kohistan but currently residing on the city’s outskirts, as part of the ongoing drug-free Mansehra campaign.
“During interrogation, the arrested suspect admitted to having connections with female drug traffickers. Subsequently, a police team, including female constables, intercepted a car in the Gujar Galli area and apprehended the women smugglers,” Gandapur stated.
