PM Shehbaz Sharif Praises Dr. Zakir Naik’s Contributions to Islamic Teachings and Global Awareness

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday commended the renowned Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik for his exceptional efforts in spreading the true teachings of the Holy Quran and Hadith, as well as promoting Islamic values worldwide. During a cordial meeting, the prime minister expressed his deep admiration for Dr. Naik’s scholarly work and the profound impact it has had on the global Muslim community.

PM Shehbaz highlighted that Dr. Naik’s lectures, particularly popular among the youth, have played a significant role in projecting the true image of Islam. The prime minister personally acknowledged benefiting from Dr. Naik’s teachings, enriching his own understanding of Islam.

The prime minister also expressed the pride felt by the people of Pakistan for Dr. Naik’s contributions and warmly welcomed his visit. He noted Dr. Naik’s good health and expressed happiness that the scholar’s son was following in his footsteps, continuing to serve Islam.

Dr. Naik, in his remarks, emphasized that Pakistan holds a unique position as the only country founded on Islamic principles. He reiterated his dedication to spreading the message of Islam globally, reminding that true success lies in adhering to Islamic teachings. Reflecting on his last visit to Pakistan in 1991, Dr. Naik shared fond memories of the experience and announced plans to visit Karachi and Lahore during his current stay.
