The Sindh government announced on Sunday that cellular services will be suspended today (Monday) in all major cities of the province, including Karachi, in observance of the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA).
Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hasan Lanjar stated that mobile phone services will be halted in Karachi, Hyderabad, Larkana, Sukkur, and Khairpur as part of the provincial government’s security measures to maintain law and order. He also mentioned that security forces will be on high alert, and mourning processions will be monitored from the air.
