The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that cricket fans will be granted free entry to the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium for the remaining two days of the first Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh. The decision was made on Friday after the third day’s play ended with Bangladesh trailing by 132 runs, having reached 316-5.

In its statement, the PCB explained that the free entry policy aims to encourage families and students to attend the match during the weekend, allowing them to support their favorite players and enjoy the ongoing two-match Test series, which is part of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25.

Spectators wishing to enter the stadium must present their original CNIC or B-form. They can access the VIP enclosures, specifically the Imran Khan and Javed Miandad enclosures reserved for families, or the premium enclosures, including Miran Baksh, Shoaib Akhtar, Sohail Tanvir, and Yasir Arafat. However, this offer does not extend to those holding tickets for the PCB Gallery or the Platinum Box, where the standard ticket policy remains in effect.

The PCB’s move is expected to boost attendance and create an exciting atmosphere for the remainder of the Test match, giving fans the opportunity to witness top-class cricket action without any cost.
