Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his message to the nation on the occasion of Independence Day, reaffirmed his government’s commitment to working collectively for an inclusive and prosperous Pakistan. He emphasized that the government’s dedicated efforts towards economic growth and stability have begun to yield positive results.
Highlighting the progress made in a short span, Prime Minister Sharif noted that the economy is on a path to stability. He proudly announced a significant reduction in inflation, which has decreased from a high of 38% to 11.1% as of July. The prime minister assured the nation that this trend would continue, with inflation expected to reach single digits soon, Inshallah.
In his address, the prime minister reiterated the importance of unity and collective action in achieving national goals, expressing confidence that with continued effort and determination, Pakistan will move towards a more prosperous and stable future for all its citizens.
