Sindh Rangers Arrest Notorious Gangster Involved in Multiple Crimes

KARACHI – Sindh’s paramilitary force announced the arrest of Aamir alias Mota, a notorious gangster implicated in several cases of target killing, including the murder of a Coast Guards official and numerous extortion cases. Presstonight reported the arrest took place during a joint operation by Rangers and police in the Saddar area of Karachi, based on intelligence information.

Aamir, associated with the Lyari gang war, was involved in target killings, ethnically motivated murders, police encounters, drug trafficking, and extortion. Authorities seized weapons and ammunition from his possession.

Initially joining Lyari gang war commander Sajid Goli’s group in 2011, Aamir later became part of commander Jamil Changa’s group in 2021. He and his accomplices were allegedly responsible for kidnapping and murdering over 20 individuals, disposing of their bodies in various locations.

During initial interrogation, Aamir confessed to involvement in the kidnapping and murder of over 12 people from rival groups, drug trafficking, extortion, multiple police encounters, and over 100 robberies. He also admitted to killing Coast Guards soldier Muhammad Bilal Ali during a robbery near Capri Cinema on MA Jinnah Road on September 9, 2023, along with accomplice Junaid Baloch, who has already been arrested.
