Pakistan No Longer Diplomatically Isolated: Deputy PM Ishaq Dar

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar stated on Tuesday that Pakistan is no longer diplomatically isolated. He emphasized that the country is actively engaging with the global community and striving to attract foreign direct investment.

The inaugural meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs was held with Senator Irfanul Haque Siddiqui presiding. Senator Dar provided an overview of the Foreign Ministry’s progress in its first 100 days, highlighting a focus on economic diplomacy and geo-economics.

Key achievements included advocating for a ceasefire in Gaza at the OIC summit, participation in a nuclear energy summit, and significant diplomatic visits to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, China, Iran, and Uzbekistan.
