The project, funded with Rs1.567 billion from the 2022-23 fiscal year budget, involves the procurement of advanced camera systems via a direct contract with the National Radio and Telecommunication Corporation. Shah reaffirmed his commitment to funding the police, contingent on achieving significant results.

Highlighting ongoing efforts, Shah mentioned the coordinated targeted operation against dacoits in the Kutcha area and the successful encounter with those responsible for killing five policemen in Ghotki. He also criticized the spread of fake news, stressing its negative impact on societal harmony.

“We are duty-bound to establish a crime-free society in the province,” Shah asserted, reiterating his government’s dedication to enhancing security and public safety in Sindh.
